Welcome to Truth for the World!

Truth for the World celebrates a time period in history when the church of Christ truly believed in the Great Commission. In the late 1940s and 1950s, the church of Christ understood the plea of Christ, to teach the world the truth. At one time we worked tirelessly to fulfill this commission given by our Lord. It was during this period of time in the United States, where the Lord’s church grew quickly and efficiently more than any other time in the U.S.

While our website celebrates this time period, in reality, we understand that the Great Commission reaches much further back than the 1950s. We strive to follow the Words of our Lord which he spoke in the first century when the Lord gave the commission and the inspired apostles fulfilled it.

Jesus told his disciples to “go into all the world and preach the Gospel.” (Matthew 28:18-20) And so it is our mission to take the truth to the whole world.
